Image, Memory and Archive

The house  I recently moved into was left very sudden as the old woman living there passed away, leaving her whole life and all her belongings behind. No one came and claimed her belongings, I had to help my landlord to clear out the house of all the furniture etc, but some of the things are still there. She lived there for over 30 years so the house has a lot of character.
This project wish to invite the viewer into a memory archive from a home left behind very sudden. It is an investigation of a stranger's life and a portrait of a house that have been someone's life and home for a very long time. I’d like the project to be a reflection on impermanence and the transience of life. Moving into a house like this and letting two lives merge, is both intimate and voyeuristic, almost intrusive.
