Beyond - Inside

With this on-going project I wanted to reclaim the body, away from societies sexualisation and objectification. Everywhere we look we see images that are there to sell something, to arouse, to keep us pinned down thinking we are not good or beautiful enough. We only see one side of it all, the sexy, photoshopped version. And the double standard; its preposterous that for example in a place like facebook the naked body is seen as pornography (a nipple, a penis, even survivors of breast cancer) and straight away deleted, while girls in uncomfortable poses in high heels and revealing lingerie there to titillate and being reduced to an object is ok. My wish is to take a step away from that and towards where natural nudity is ok, take away the excitement, and the shame.
